My career in makeup began first with my career in film production. Straight out of film school, I landed my first job on set for a year long contract with L’Oreal and the How-To network. My job was to produce over 1,000 “how-to” videos featuring celebrity makeup artists step-by-step showcasing various beauty techniques and trends. I was spending all of my time on set literally learning how to achieve various makeup techniques by some of the very best in the industry. When I left set, I would go home and practice these techniques on myself, which lead to my love for makeup and my eventual shift into doing makeup professionally. I am MAC & YSL trained and I served as a Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Global Artist from 2012-2014 representing the Pacific Islands out of Honolulu Hawaii.
I eventually fell back in love with production and shifted back into producing, which is what I currently still do, but I will find any excuse to pick my makeup brushes and kit back up. I love following current beauty trends and trying new techniques out, but nothing makes me happier than utilizing a bride’s natural beauty and using the power of makeup to enhance it.
While I love to go full glam on anyone, I do specialize in Natural Glam for many brides who are hoping to look and feel exactly like themselves, only enhanced for their special day. No matter your style or desired look, you will walk away feeling beautiful both inside and out.
I know beauty consultations are not one-size-fits-all. I understand weddings can be full of complications and scheduling needs, and I am more than happy to help you through each step of the way without hesitation or added complication.
